Hi there! I'm Cori, a former technical writer turned SharePoint developer with a history of web design and project management. I recently began a journey of SharePoint discovery and development. I've barely begun, but I know enough at this point to realize that I have a long, long way to go.
As a blogger, I welcome advice and criticism as long as it's constructive and warranted. If you have any questions, I will do my best to answer them. But keep in mind that I am the farthest thing from an expert and can only speak from my experience and the knowledge gleamed from books, blogs, and user groups. I'll do my best to shout out kudos to these sources, but if I forget any along the way, you can follow along on my blogroll.
The job ahead of me (developing a SharePoint-based intranet for my employer) is large and exciting. My goal is to use this blog as a way to track my progress, and I will do it without using a lot of technical terms and IT jargon. This blog is meant to function as an archive of lessons learned and goals accomplished, and perhaps as a platform for discussion between developers who, like me, came into their role with a less-than-conventional IT backgrounds.
Follow along as I research, develop, and implement a SharePoint-based intranet.
